This Father's Day, we're celebrating the no-fuss dads — the ones who appreciate the classics but deserve something a little extra. That’s why we’re bringing it back to basics, with a twist: good old Australian pies. Still simple, still comforting, but thoughtfully elevated with premium ingredients. Here’s what we’ve cooked up to honour the dads who keep it simple — and simply the best.
Slow-Cooked Beef Cheek en Croûte with Wood-Roasted Mushrooms & Stout Onions
Featuring Angus x Wagyu beef cheeks from Rangers Valley (NSW) slow-cooked for 12 hours in stout, rosemary, and garlic until fall-apart tender and rich in complex flavours. The beef is wrapped in a rich duxelles of wood-roasted mushrooms, garlic, and stout-macerated onions, enhanced with our house-made bread miso and fresh herbs. Encased in a herb crêpe, it is then enveloped in buttery puff pastry and baked until golden.

Hunted+Gathered Chocolate and Stout Tart, Miso Pear and Salted Caramel
A rich chocolate, almond and stout frangipane, laced with 70% dark chocolate from Hunted+Gathered. Packham pears, poached in a savoury miso syrup, are nestled into the frangipane before baking, with the reserved miso-poaching liquid transformed into a salted miso caramel glaze, brushed over the tart. Served simply with a brown sugar and orange crème.
